Another lazy day here in Bogota (well as least for Luke and I-Kenny went to work). Luke is still coughing a bit, but he seems to be feeling much better otherwise. And we have learned that our son shares very well. Unfortunately, it's his germs that he's sharing. Kenny has caught his cold and hasn't been feeling too well. I'm still hanging in there and hopefully can fight it off. So no trips or sightseeing today, but we did need to get out of the apartment for a little while. We decided to go downstairs to the restaurant and have dinner. It was nice to get some fresh air (well as fresh as it can be in Bogota) and have a good dinner. I think I forgot to mention the great sporting events that are going on here in Bogota this week and how our hotel is full of great athletes. Several large buses pulled up yesterday and they were full of Americans (I'm not being judgemental, but you can spot buses full of Americans in the middle of Colombia). Since this has not been a common sight for us to see so many American looking, English speaking people, Kenny asked what they were in Colombia for. They are golfers who are part of the PGA Nationwide tour that is taking place here this weekend. And also alot of Canadian tennis players are here for the final group one of the Davis Cup. It's pretty neat because the place where we were at on Sunday with Kenny's work colleague is where the tennis matches are being held. But anyway, the boys are both in bed so I'm going to get some sleep too. We have a big day at the zoo tomorrow!

Hi Jess and Kenny,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Luke is feeling better. I can see that little tooth on the pictures! He seems to have grown so much since your first postings. I hope the legal process progresses quickly so you can get home.
